Indianapolis Colts

*Brandon Stokley is still struggling with effects of a sprained ankle suffered early in preseason.

*Adam Vinatieri is expected to kick this weekend.  He was held out against the Bengals because of concerns over a wet field.

*Adam Vinatieri will miss Sunday's game against the Jags.  The Colts are expected to sign Martin Gramatica to handle kicking until Vinatieri can return

*Brandon Stokley will be a game time decision.  However we expect him not to play as he has been unable to practice.

*Brandon Stokley was once again unable to practice due to a sprained ankle.  he will need to get at least one practice in to be able to play on Sunday against Houston.

*Brandon Stokley reports feeling better from his sprained ankle, but there are no guarantees that he will be ready for the Giants game week 1.  With a weaker running game this year, look for the Colt receivers to have more opportunities than last year, making Stokley a value.

*There is still speculation that Adam Vinatieri has a broken bone in his foot.  In fact, the chatter has increased and the Colts are saying nothing.  There are too many other good kickers out there to worry about Vinatieri's health.  Draft Shayne Graham or Jay Feely and forget about it.

*There is a rumor that Vinatieri's ankle injury is actually a broken bone; or at least the sprain is worse than the team is letting on.  We won't worry until the Colts sign another kicker.

*RB James Mungro tore his right ACL and will miss the season.  We expect Joseph Addai to start and Dominic Rhodes to substitute frequently.  Just about everyone in this offense has value.  Addai has the highest potential.

*I'm hearing that Vinatieri's ankle is worse than being reported.  I'm cautiously optimistic that he'll be fine by the first or second week of the season.  Even if he he misses one week, he's still very valuable.

*Jim Sorgi will undergo an MRI.  He's a decent handcuff to Manning, so keep and eye on this closely if you have Peyton.

*Brandon Stokley may miss week 1 with a sprained ankle.  Considering questions in the Colts ground attack, they may look to pass more often again this year, making any receiver, especially a friend of quarterback Peyton Manning a value.  Many will ignore Stokley because of a quiet year last season.

*Adam Vinatieri sprained his ankle while running on Monday.  His condition is listed as day to day.  We're not worried.

*Joseph Addai looks like this year's JJ Arrington.  3 carries for 3 yards against St. Louis will not win the starting job.  It's hard to write him off after 3 carries, especially considering Manning was out of there after the first series.

*Great hype about Joseph Addai coming out of Indianapolis.  He's certainly not guaranteed anything, but we certainly expect him to start and contribute starting in week 1.
